We’re passionate about preparing our students to succeed in the 21st century global community! As a college-prep school, we believe it’s our job to equip students for success in higher education and an ever-changing, complex workplace. As a Christian school, we want our students to confidently live out their faith in their everyday lives. How do we accomplish these goals?

It’s a process. Here at HPCS, we don’t just teach facts; we teach kids how to think. We want to prepare students to engage the world thoughtfully and confidently. Our commitment is this: when a student graduates, he or she will be prepared for success not just in college but for Christian life in the 21st century.

We offer rigorous academic training within the context of a biblical worldview, utilizing a curated curriculum that engages students with the Christian faith as it intersects all academic disciplines and facets of life.

Our teachers carefully select from available curricula those resources that best support grade-level objectives. We meet or exceed state standards in each grade, and our students excel when compared to private and public schools on both national and state scores on standardized tests.

Our administrator has an earned doctorate in education, and more than one-third of classroom teachers have at least a master’s degree in their specialization. The school year is 180 days, and the school day is 6.5 hours duration. Conventional and blended classroom instruction is offered at all levels.

Over the past four years, HPCS has implemented a robust STEAM initiative in both the Upper and Lower School, providing valuable opportunities for our students and broadening their options in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math.
