Dear HPCS Parent or Grandparent,
For 56 years, the Collins Building has been the heartbeat of our lower school. It’s where thousands of children first learned to read, where they memorized Scripture, and where the foundation of a Christ-centered education was laid for generations of alumni.
Today, we stand at a crossroads. To ensure this legacy continues for the next 50 years, the Collins Building needs more than just maintenance—it requires a total transformation. We’re embarking on a $2 million renovation. This project is far more than cosmetic; it’s a complete overhaul of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems that will allow our lower school to thrive for decades to come.
Thanks to diligent stewardship, Hampton Park Baptist Church has already set aside $1.7 million for the project over the last three years. Our goal is to raise the remaining $300,000 by August 2026. We’re committed to paying cash for the project, as we believe in protecting our ministry’s financial health by refusing to borrow funds or deplete emergency reserves.
