Kathryn Lyons of Hampton Park Christian School has distinguished herself as one of twelve national finalists, as well as the winner for the state of South Carolina, for the prestigious Heisman High School Scholarship. This honor is given exclusively to high school seniors who have already begun a legacy of lasting impact in their athletic, scholastic, and community endeavors.The scholarship exists to inspire students to utilize their passions and talents to benefit those around them. As a national finalist Kathryn will receive a $1,250 scholarship.
Kathryn has been at HPCS since kindergarten and is an avid participant in many of their offered programs! She has served as Student Body Girl’s President and was named Valedictorian of the Class of 2021. She’s also participated in drama club, National Honor Society, multiple Hampton Park sports teams, and is an active leader in her church and youth group.
